About The Use of Herbs
Once you experience the many benefits of using herbs to promote your wellness, you will never want to be without the appropriate herbs. There are herbs for everything – to strengthen digestion, clear the lungs, reduce inflammation, eliminate wastes, calm the nerves, create more energy, improve the quality of blood and circulation, “tune-up” kidney and bladder functions, boost the immune system and add to the nutrition of your diet.
Are Herbs Safe?
Anything consumed in excess or incorrectly may interfere with a healthy balance in the body. However, when used as recommended in “The Safe Use of Herbs,” general wellness can be greatly enhanced by using herbs.
With the help of a knowledgeable herbalist, herbs can be used effectively to increase energy levels, internal balances and often enhance the healing processes of sick people.
Herbs, along with acupuncture, can also help to reduce the severity of many illnesses such as cancer, arthritis, diabetes, neurological dysfunctions, muscular/skeletal problems, poor circulation, etc. This type of herb use should be undertaken only by qualified herbalists in collaboration with medical doctors. It is called “complementary healthcare” when it is integrated into conventional bio-medical and/or integrative healthcare settings.
